April's Astro Weather
the tides are turning and we can start to breathe a bit easier.
Incase you were wondering where my March astro weather report was….
“Sometimes the astrology is happening so hard, the astrologer becomes quiet.”
March was a complete whirlwind (to put it eloquently), with some of the most challenging astrology of 2025 finally winding down this month.
This isn’t to say the rest of the year will be all sunshine and rainbows (by now, you probably know that’s not how this works). It has simply been a classic case of things getting worse before they get better.
And April does offer some reprieve with the end of Retrograde Season and Mars’ [what felt like] never-ending transit through Cancer.
We’re emerging from the eye of the storm, but we’re not fully in the clear just yet.
That said, the tides are turning, and we can start to breathe a bit easier.
Let’s take a look at the starry heavens of April:
4/1: Venus Rx joins the north node in Pisces (again): This tells the story of our deepest desires, longings, and values that started back at the tail end of January/beginning of February [exact Feb 3rd]. What was happening around that time and is that story resurfacing in any way for you now? Pay attention to what feelings and messages come through.
4/7: Venus Rx joins Saturn in Pisces (again): as Mercury stations direct, joining the north node [exact April 10]. There’s a blend of melancholic energy here, reminiscent of the conjunction we experienced around 1/18 and conversations that are meant to be had.
4/12: Full Moon in Libra: just before Venus, the ruler of this lunation, turns direct. This is the first full moon in Libra since 2023 that isn’t an eclipse. For more on this lunation, check out my book, The Astrology of 2025.
4/16: Mercury enters Aries: and will take one final sweep of the same degrees it covered during its retrograde period. We’re not out of the woods just yet, not until Mercury clears its stationing degree. Mercury does connect with the Aries point here so it might feel as though an air of confusion sweeps in, replacing the clarity you once thought you were gaining.
4/18: Mars enters Leo: (thank Goddess) and will cross over the same degrees it traveled during its retrograde period back in November 2024. Mars no longer being in the sign of its fall shifts the vibe in a noticeable way, starting with the return of more energy. Taking action will likely feel less like you’re doing a dance and more like you’re taking a direct route to get to where you want.
4/19: Sun enters Taurus.
4/22: Saturn conjoins the North Node.
4/24: Venus joins the North Node Saturn conjunction for the third and final time, bringing an end to a storyline that began late January/very early February.
4/27: New Moon in 7º Taurus + Mars opposes Pluto.
4/30: Venus enters Aries and will make one last pass over the same degrees it covered during its retrograde period. While she won’t fully regain her regular speed until she clears her stationing degree, there’s still likely to be some forward momentum around the themes that arose during her retrograde period.
Timelines are gradually starting to merge this month.
What I mean is that different energies and themes from the past and present are s l o w l y synthesizing, bringing awareness and creating an opportunity to integrate lessons.
There will likely be a sense of some things coming into focus this month or shifting in a way that makes the path forward feel a little clearer, even if just for a moment.
