With January behind us, February brings a shift in energy with a few of the following astrological highlights:
2/1: Venus conjunct Neptune blurs lines but creates an atmosphere supportive of daydreaming, poetry, creating, and artistic expression.
2/3: Venus conjunct the North Node makes for fated encounters, exchanges & crossings. Notice who you intersect with around this time.
2/4: Venus enters Aries, inviting us to embrace passion for what we love and value. With Venus already in her pre-shadow phase, true clarity on these matters will begin to emerge only after the retrograde, once she clears her station degree.
Jupiter in Gemini stations direct on this same day.
Follow along with all of February’s astrology and the rest of the year inside my book The Astrology of 2025.
The water element is dominating the sky right now and the next two months we will continue to be immersed in it, with Pisces occupying most of this energy.
Pisces is mutable water and the final sign of the zodiac, with Aries being the first.
This Pisces-Aries sign boundary of the zodiac could be understood as:
An undeniable spiritual truth is that you cannot have the light without the dark.
[Pisces season, mutable water, the threshold of the end of winter and beginning of spring].
The dance between dark and light is a sacred truth of the human experience.
It’s easy to gravitate toward the light, the joy, the moments of clarity and expansion.
But we must remember that the very presence of light is made possible by the shadows that surround it.
Just as the sun cannot shine without the night preceding it, we cannot know the fullness of joy without encountering the depths of sorrow, the heights of love without the cracks where fear and uncertainty reside.
These dark moments invite us to transform, to soften our grip on the illusions of control and perfection, and to open to a deeper sense of surrender.
And so I leave you with this note, should you meet uncertainty in the next several weeks.
