I admit, the title is a bit misleading…

Surrender cannot truly be taught.

Surrender is learned through experience.

It’s something we must and inevitably will experience through moments that challenge our sense of control, forcing us to confront the limits of our own will and realize that despite our most determined efforts—we cannot control everything.

Surrender is not passive or helpless, but a slow drip of releasing resistance to what is, what will eventually be, and the space in between.

To commit to surrender, or rather to lean into it, is to acknowledge that there is power in yielding. In letting go of the impulse to control, we do the quiet work of humbly submitting to the divine order of things—day by day, moment by moment.

This is not a one-time event but an ongoing process—a continual shedding of layers of what we think we know and how we think things should unfold.

It requires trusting the process, which means trusting yourself through the process.

Which also often means loosening your grasp on the process and forgoing the need to have all the answers.

It demands faith.

And just when you think you've fully surrendered, you might find yourself brought to your knees again—discovering another layer to release, another part of you still resisting.

This is [part of] what Saturn in Pisces has been teaching.

Saturn in Pisces is dissolving the illusion of control.

Here, limitations [Saturn] and surrender [Pisces] are intimately connected.

Limitations define the shape that holds us, revealing the boundaries of our control.

Which is never as much as we think or wish it to be.

Surrender is the natural response to recognizing our limitations.

Saturn in Pisces is a vessel.
