January's Astro Weather + Newsletter
The Astrology of 2025 workbook is officially available for purchase💫
Welcome to 2025! 🎉
While I personally celebrate the new year with the Spring Equinox, I’m grateful to begin another year with this growing community.
I’m also thrilled to announce that The Astrology of 2025 workbook is officially available for purchase!
I was fortunate enough to work alongside such a talented team of astrologers who made this cosmic guide to your year ahead possible.

This book came together during my 5th house profection year, ruled by Mercury, placed in the 9th house of publishing — and now it’s out in the world, ready for you to dive into.
(If you’ve ever had an astro session with me, you know my love for profections.)
January kicks off with a few different changes: Venus enters Pisces, Mars re-enters Cancer, and the nodes switch signs.
Continue reading for a summary of the astrology this month. You can dive even deeper with my book (it’s beginner-friendly!)
KEY DATES
1/2: Venus enters Pisces
1/6: Mars re-enters Cancer
1/11: Nodal axis moves into Virgo & Pisces
1/13: Full Moon @ 23° Cancer
1/19: Sun enters Aquarius, Venus-Saturn conjunction in Pisces
1/21: Sun-Pluto conjunction in Aquarius
1/27: Mercury enters Aquarius
1/29: New Moon @ 9°Aquarius
1/30: Uranus Direct @ 23° Taurus
Venus enters Pisces on January 2, making it a beautiful time for art, creativity, connecting with friends and lovers, and creating warm memories.
(The Astrology of 2025 has Venusian rituals, by the way).
Mars re-enters Cancer on January 6, where it will remain until April 17.
Mars will revisit the same degrees it covered since the start of the pre-shadow period on October 5. This is a time to review, reassess, and reflect on the themes and storylines that were emerging back then.
If you need help remembering, revisit your journal entries, photo library, or social media posts from around that time to get a clearer sense of what might come up for review during this long retrograde.
Possible themes during this Mars retrograde include passive-aggressiveness, emotional reactivity, defensiveness, boundary-related dynamics, family feuds, and revisiting old or unresolved arguments and conflicts.
However, there’s also an invitation to connect more deeply with the body, recognize it as a messenger, honour its messages, use sensitivity as a superpower, and trust it as the foundation of our intuition (because it is). Always check in with it before saying yes.
We’re also urged to adjust our pacing and approach. Think of this time as Slowing Down To Speed Up™
Cancer is ruled by the Moon, so Mars in Cancer’s dispositor is the Moon. While Mars is in Cancer, the energy will shift every 2.5 days as the Moon moves through different signs.
Mondays (the Moon’s day) are a great time to set aside moments for body-based practices and rituals. It might also be helpful to tune into how you’re feeling during the New Moon and Full Moon.
You can find Moon rituals inside The Astrology of 2025 workbook.
On January 11th, the North and South Nodes will officially enter Virgo and Pisces, representing a major shift for us on a personal + collective level, with a new cycle of eclipses that will last until February 2027, when the final eclipse takes place in Virgo.
What houses do Virgo and Pisces occupy in your natal chart?
As the nodes transit this house axis, the themes of these houses will manifest in significant ways in our reality.
Ciao for now, ciao for later.
