Mars in Leo, Sun in Scorpio: The More Visible We Become, the More Vulnerability Is Amplified
The Antidote to the Vulnerability That Comes with Greater Visibility
Visibility is a Double-Edged Sword
To be seen is to be vulnerable.
When you're in view, you're also within reach.
All of us, deep down, long to be seen. Seen, as in:
To be seen in the quiet stories we carry—those tucked in the corners of our hearts, hidden in the crevices of our private worlds.
To be seen as in the desire to be understood—not as the world expects, but as we truly are—raw, unfiltered. In our purest form, stripped of pretence and disguise.
To be seen, and in that seeing, to be held. Not by hands, but by the soul—to know that our presence matters; that we are not invisible, but truly seen, our voices heard, and that we are part of something larger.
So we seek eyes that peer beyond the mask, beyond the judgments, past the shallow questions.
To be seen—not just as an individual, but to also see the self reflected in another, and another, in the self.
When we step into the light of being seen—whether in our most intimate relationships, posting content we’ve created to followers, or pursuing a passion—we become vulnerable.
To be seen is to risk being misunderstood—fragmented, dissected, overanalyzed, turned away from, rejected, reduced to a snapshot or a single aspect, until all the complexity of our inner selves fades beneath the weight of others' projections. It is also to risk that our less-than-perfect parts will be used as a weapon against us.
The Sun in Scorpio and Mars in Leo are currently in mutual reception and will continue to be for the next couple of weeks.
Mutual reception is when two planets are in each other’s signs. Mars is the planetary ruler of Scorpio, and the Sun is the planetary ruler of Leo. These planets are in mutual reception, exchanging signs, because each is in the sign that the other traditionally rules.
