Venus entered Aries on February 4 at 2:56 AM ET.
Venus in Aries will turn retrograde on March 1, dip back into Pisces on March 27, and then re-enter Aries on April 30.
Venus is said to be in her detriment in Aries.
A planet is considered to be in detriment when it is in the sign opposite its domicile—the sign it rules.
Venus rules Libra, which is opposite Aries.
So, Venus is far from home in Aries and not exactly comfortable here.

Venus seeks to harmonize, attract, and create connection, whereas Mars, the God of war and planetary ruler of Aries, is associated with separation, recklessness, anger, and the hunt and chase.
Essentially, Venus in Aries channels Venusian themes through a distinctly Martial lens, often manifesting as hyper-independence, impulsive desire, and an assertive—or even aggressive—pursuit, instead of mutuality, measured compromise, and interdependent connection.
All of which can, at times, be a detriment (pun intended) to connection.
But it also amplifies eros….
A Look at the Starry Heavens:
Venus in Aries is currently ruled by Mars in Cancer.
[Her second round in this fire sign will be ruled by Mars in Leo.]
This is a time to look at your defences in relationships of all kinds.
During Venus’ time in Aries, ruled by Mars in Cancer, notice how your body responds when you feel the need to protect yourself.
Do you tense up, withdraw, or go into appeasement?
By bringing awareness to these patterns with curiosity rather than judgment, you can begin to soften old survival strategies and create space for deeper connection and safety in your interactions.
Track your body’s response when you feel defensive. The next time you notice tension, pause and take a slow, intentional breath.
Gently scan your body—where do you feel contraction or tightness?
See if you can soften that area just a little.
This simple act of body-based awareness can create more choice in how you respond rather than reacting automatically.
Defences can be helpful, as they’re the body’s way of protecting you from perceived harm.
The key isn’t to eliminate them, but to recognize when they serve you and when they might be limiting deeper connection.
All of my work goes way beyond predictions.
I believe in offering tangible practices, rituals, and tools so you can connect with your greatest gifts, be with the discomfort that accompanies challenges, deepen your connections with others and the divine, and understand your unique energy signature.
