WELCOME TO SCORPIO SEASON

It’s the time of year when everything is dying, and so much beauty can be witnessed in the sacred process of death.

Scorpio season, which spans from October 22 to November 21, is closely linked to the attributes of the fixed water sign and its planetary ruler, Mars.

This time is marked by themes of intensity, passion, desire, transformation, and introspection. It invites you into the depths of the human psyche, encouraging self-exploration and the uncovering of hidden truths.

During Scorpio season, you may experience a mini series of deaths and rebirths or simply shed some old skin that needs to go.

There’s an invitation here to become truly acquainted with and confront your shadows, deepest desires, and fears in order to transform and later emerge in Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius season with renewed light and personal power.

By diving into your own emotional undercurrents, you have the chance to uncover more of your truest self, dissolving the illusions and masks you may have worn to fit into a world that asks for conformity.

As you confront your shadows, it’s important to do so with compassion and curiosity.

Scorpio’s transformative power isn’t about punishing yourself for what you find in the dark; it’s about understanding, integrating, and ultimately transmuting these energies into something that supports your evolution.

As you honour this process of inner alchemy, remember that death, in its essence, is not a final ending but a necessary phase in the cycle of life.

A dead end is a point of resurrection.

Scorpio season reminds us that decay and destruction clear the path for regeneration and growth—much like a waterfall eroding rock, creating space for new pools to form.

Every witch, healer, or magical practitioner knows that the most potent magic comes from confronting your shadows and knowing thyself deeply.

This is how you enhance your personal power, as Scorpio season is calling you to do, so you can step into your full potential—channeling that energy into spell work, sex magic (Scorpio rules the reproductive system/organs), or sharpening your intuitive channel.

SCORPIO SEASON KEY DATES

October 22: The Sun enters Scorpio, marking a time of death, transformation and rebirth

November 1: The New Moon in Scorpio, ruled by a fallen Mars that’s in its pre-shadow period, calls us to look at the Cancer and Scorpio parts of our chart and explore what themes are being activated.

November 2: Mercury enters the sign of its detriment, Sagittarius, shifting our communication towards a broader scope.

November 3: Mars enters Leo, reigniting our passions and ambitions.

November 15: Saturn turns direct, ending the retrograde period that began in June. What lessons arose over the last several months and what have you learned that you need to apply moving forward?

November 15: The Full Moon in Taurus marks a culmination point, inviting us to reflect on what truly brings us comfort and stability and release what doesn't.

November 19: Pluto re-enters Aquarius, shifting our relationship with technology once again.

For people with fixed sign placements in their birth charts, Scorpio season may be particularly important.

It can offer an opportunity to become more aware of what needs to change and how to unblock stagnant energy in their lives.

To begin unblocking stagnant energy, first look at where you’re becoming fixated—particularly when it comes to emotions.

Emotions are just energy in motion. They need to be expressed and released to maintain the free flow of energy within your energy body.

You can start this by tuning into your body and paying attention to where you feel any tightness or discomfort. This could be in your chest, stomach, or even your throat.

These areas can be signs that energy is stuck. Once you’ve identified these spots, breath work can help soften them.

Movement is another powerful way to shift stuck energy. Simple activities like stretching, dancing, or even just shaking out your body (somatic shaking) can help release what’s been held inside.

As we dive deeper into this underworld time of year and are called to explore our shadows during Scorpio season —
